Set within the historic red-brick Goodsheds, The Sidings takes its name from the railway sidings that once powered Barry’s industrial past. What was once a bustling hub of movement and trade has been reimagined as a premium sports bar for today – blending raw industrial character with the buzz of live sport, great food, and nightlife. Rooted in heritage and built for modern socialising, The Sidings brings history, community, and atmosphere together under one roof.

That’s why we partner with local, independent producers like Coaltown Coffee, an award-winning Welsh roastery based in Ammanford. Our team is trained to a high standard and always happy to share the story behind what we serve.

What We Do

We deliver the ultimate game-day experience. Live sport plays across large HD screens, paired with a strong selection of bottled and draft beers, cocktails, and a food offering from Goodsheds’ diverse traders, built for sharing. By day, The Sidings is the perfect spot for relaxed drinks, great coffee, and casual eats. By night, it transforms into Barry’s go-to destination for sport, music, and socialising.

Our coffee is crafted in partnership with Coaltown Coffee using a bespoke Brazilian house blend, roasted in small batches at their South Wales HQ. Carefully hand-roasted to draw out complex flavours, it delivers a dark chocolate and almond base with cinder toffee sweetness – balanced, rich, and versatile. Brewed by expertly trained baristas, it’s a consistently great cup, whether you’re settling in for a match or just passing through.
