Andy Nash is the founding director of Andy Nash Accounting Consultancy. Andy is an ICAEW ACA qualified accountant with years of experience in the third sector, including senior management roles for a numbers of charities including household names.

He set up the business in 2016 to combine his passion for the sector with his expertise, focusing on smaller charities who quite often have to choose cost over quality when it comes to accounting advice. Andy has received many awards over his years recognising his expertise and dedication to the sector. Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being in the outdoors and walking.

Working alongside Andy is a small but dedicated team of people. The team consists of three accounting staff, including two ICAEW trainees, and an administration assistant. The team has grown over the years, with each member bringing their own personalities, strengths and skills to create a close, hardworking team.

Background – A bit of background insight into the business, how it started, and good things about the Goodsheds and reasons for setting up there

Andy Nash Accounting Consultancy was founded in 2016. Andy Nash Accounting Consultancy was founded to provide charities with an accounting service that has the specialist technical knowledge found in top accounting firms but with the consistent, personal relationships, more akin to smaller firms. We provide charities with both, so no charity has to choose between the two.

The business is relocating to Barry, from Cardiff. Andy believes in supporting the local community and with the Goodsheds it is the perfect opportunity for us as a company to do so. We are looking forward to being part of a community with other fantastic businesses who are also setting up here and having the opportunity to watch how the Goodsheds develops. In addition, most of our staff are local to Barry and so it means we can really serve the community we live and play in!

What we do – Insight into the business offering describing what they do, and what they offer.

Here at Andy Nash Accounting Consultancy we offer accounting and financial services to small and medium, charities and not-for-profit entities both local, and across the UK. We love nothing more than getting to know our clients, knowing what works and does not work for them and making them part of our family. We pride ourselves on the high-quality services we offer each individual client, ensuring each contract is individually set to meet our clients needs at a price they can afford.

We offer a range of services, ranging from day to day finance support; producing year end accounts for clients; consultancy services and training sessions.

We are using this relocation opportunity to set up a small local hub for small local charities to use the office in the evenings or on weekends to hold small board meetings and other small events.
