The Greedy Bear is the brain child of David and Caroline - named after David’s Labrador Retriever, Bear! With a love for travel and a passion for food, they have both combined their extensive background in hospitality and catering to bring a taste of Pan Asia to South Wales.
David was born and raised in Malaysia where food is always the main topic of any conversation. Whilst missing the simplicity and unique street food and hawker style concept, he teamed up with Caroline to start The Greedy Bear, with their first permanent kitchen in DEPOT Cardiff in 2021. The aim is to bring the flavours of South East Asia to South Wales in a bold and creative menu.
A new and exciting menu is planned for Goodsheds. Expect rice bowls, bao buns and small plates, all packed with exciting flavours of the East!
Where possible all ingredients are locally sourced and all packaging used is either recyclable or compostable.
